The last time Fordham beat Villanova, Warren G. Harding was the president of the United States. The Rams snapped a 93 year losing streak to the Wildcats with an emotional 27-24 win over the eighth best team in the FCS. The win is hands down the biggest during the short two year tenure of head coach Joe Moorehead and more importantly keeps the Maroon and White undefeated at 2-0.
Fordham’s focus now shifts to Philadelphia as the Rams head to the City of Brotherly Love on Saturday to take on the 0-2 Temple Owls. After falling to FBS opponent Cincinnati last year in Ohio, the Maroon and White now knows what to expect when it comes to playing a big time atmosphere. Listen below to our One on One Post Game Report featuring an interview with head coach Joe Moorehead. |

As we are well into the school year, it's time for the first edition of the Roach report with Fordham Athletic Director David Roach. I spoke with Roach about the football team, specifically its matchup tonight with nationally ranked Villanova at home. We also spoke about the current condition of Jack Coffey Field and the improvements to come.
We also touched on the two basketball teams at Fordham and the current Atlantic 10 TV deal, along with Fordham's own TV deal with the YES Network.
Don't miss the monthly Roach report, airing on the first Saturday of every month on 90.7 FM and WFUVSports.org. |
